Website to spreadsheet

Web scraper that turns a web page into a spreadsheet, with no code

Paste a page address and get the items on it, such as products, listings, articles or jobs, back as a table with one row per item. The first 10 rows are free, with no sign-up. The full table as Excel or CSV is $5: one payment, no subscription. Unlike a chatbot, it opens the page in a real browser and is set up to return every item on the page, not a sample.

Extract data from a page

One address per line. The first is free; add more with a one-time payment.

Leave it empty and the main list on the page is extracted.

No sign-up. First rows free. Full table $5, one payment.

By continuing you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • First 10 rows free, no account needed
  • Full table $5, one payment, no subscription
  • No code, no browser extension, no selectors to write
  • Pages are rendered in a real browser, so JavaScript-loaded content is read
  • Say what you want in plain English, or let it find the repeated items
  • Export as Excel (XLSX) or CSV, with each item's URL as a column

What you get back

A table you can sort, filter and paste into your own sheet. The scraper finds the main repeated items on the page and gives each one a row. Values are copied as they appear on the page: prices are not converted, names are not translated, and a value an item does not have is left empty instead of being filled in.

  • One row per item: product, listing, article, job, company, event or search result
  • Column names chosen from what the items share, such as Name, Price, Rating, Location, Date
  • A URL column with each item's own link, when the item has one
  • Several addresses in one job are merged into a single table when their columns match
  • Download as XLSX or CSV

Why a chatbot is the wrong tool for scraping a website

ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are good at turning text into a table when the text is already in front of them. Getting the text from a live site, all of it, is the part that goes wrong. Some assistants can open some pages. They often cannot open the one you need, and when they can, a long list tends to come back as a short one.

Your situation A chatbot This tool
A short list you paste into the chat Usually formats it into a table well Works, but you may not need it
A product or listing page on a live site Often cannot open the page, or reads only part of it Opens the address in a real browser and reads the rendered page
Items that load with JavaScript Often sees a page with the items missing JavaScript runs before the page is read
A page with 80 items Tends to list the first few and summarize the rest Is instructed to return every item, one row each
A value the page does not show May fill in something plausible Leaves the cell empty
You need a file for Excel A table in the chat, copied by hand XLSX or CSV download

How to scrape a web page into a spreadsheet

  1. 1

    Paste the page address

Use the address of the page that shows the items you want: a category page, a search results page, a directory or a blog index. You can paste a list of addresses, one per line.

  2. 2

Say what to extract, or skip it

Add a short instruction such as "name, price and rating of each product" if you want specific columns. Leave it empty and the scraper finds the main repeated items on its own.

  3. 3

Check the first rows, then export

The first 10 rows appear free. If the columns look right, unlock the full table for $5 and download it as XLSX or CSV.

Why web scraping trips up general AI assistants

A chat assistant is built to answer a question, and reading a website is a side trip it takes to get there. That side trip is fragile. Many sites turn away requests from AI assistants. Many pages are built by JavaScript after they load, and an assistant that fetches the raw page often sees a shell with no products in it. You usually cannot tell from the answer which of these happened.

When the assistant does get the page, the next problem is length. Asked for all 80 listings, it tends to give you ten and a line such as "and so on", or a summary of the rest. In the worse case it fills the table with items that look right and are not on the page at all. A table with a few invented rows is harder to use than no table, because you no longer know which rows to trust.

This tool does the two steps separately. First a real Chrome browser opens the address, runs the page's scripts and collects the text and links a visitor would see. Then an AI model is given that text with one job: put every repeated item into a row, copy values exactly, and add nothing that is not there. The result is a file, not a chat message.

What people use it for

  • Product names, prices and ratings from a category or search page
  • Real estate, car and rental listings for a comparison sheet
  • Job postings with title, company and location
  • Business directories and supplier lists
  • Article titles, dates and links from a blog or news index
  • Event listings with dates and venues

No code, no extension, no selectors

Classic scraping means writing a script or clicking through a setup screen to tell the tool which element holds the name and which holds the price. That setup breaks when the site changes its layout. Here there is nothing to configure. You give an address and, if you like, one sentence about what you want. Nothing is installed in your browser, and it works the same on a phone as on a laptop.

Getting a clean table, and what the tool does not do

The scraper reads the page you give it, one page per address. It does not click "next", press "load more" or log in. To collect several pages of results, open each page in your browser and paste its address: up to 25 addresses fit in one job, and their rows are merged into one table when the columns match. A short instruction that names the columns you want helps keep them identical from page to page.

Some pages cannot be read. Pages behind a login are not accessible, some sites block automated visits, and a very long page may be cut off before the end. Items that only appear after you scroll or click may be missing. The first rows are free, so you can see what comes back from your page before paying.

The table is built by an AI model from the page text, so check a few rows against the page before you rely on it. You are responsible for following the terms of the site you collect from and the laws that apply to you. This page is not legal advice.

Questions and answers

Is the web scraper free?

The first address in a job is scraped free and the first 10 rows of the table are shown, with no account. Without an account you can run 1 free job a day; a free account raises that to 3 a day and lets you download the visible rows as a CSV file.

How much does the full table cost?

$5, paid once, for one job: every row from up to 25 page addresses, downloadable as XLSX or CSV. There is no subscription. Tax is included in the price shown.

Can ChatGPT scrape a website?

Sometimes, in part. A chatbot with browsing can open some public pages and pull a few items into a table. Many sites block it, pages built with JavaScript often come back empty, and long lists tend to be cut to a sample or padded with invented rows. This tool opens the page in a real browser and returns the items as a spreadsheet file.

Do I need to write code or install a browser extension?

No. You paste a page address into the site and the scraping runs on our servers in a real Chrome browser. There are no selectors to write and nothing to install.

Which pages can it scrape?

Public web pages with an http or https address, including pages that build their content with JavaScript. Pages behind a login cannot be opened, some sites block automated visits, and a very long page may be cut off. You are responsible for respecting the terms of the site you collect from.

Does it follow pagination or scrape a whole site?

No. It extracts what is on the page you give it, one page per address, and does not click through to the next page. To get several result pages, paste the address of each one: a paid job takes up to 25 addresses and merges the rows into one table when the columns match.

Can I choose which fields it extracts?

Yes. Add a plain-English instruction such as "name, price and rating of each product" and the table is built from that. Without an instruction the scraper finds the main repeated items on the page and picks columns from what they share, including each item's URL.

Is my job private?

Only you can open your job. The text of the page is sent to an AI model provider for the sole purpose of building the table, through routes that do not use your data for training. Jobs started without an account are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete any job yourself at any time.

What does Unlimited include?

Unlimited costs $29 a month or $180 a year and covers every tool on the site, with up to 500 pages or addresses a month and up to 50 addresses in one scraping job. You can cancel at any time.
