Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data APPFACT STUDIO LTD (company no. 17493000, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom) collects when you use nocutoff.com, why, and what your rights are. We are the data controller.
What we collect
- The files you upload and the text produced from them. We store them so that you can read, edit and download your documents.
- Account details. Your email address, and a password if you set one. If you pay without registering, we receive your email address from our payment provider and create your account with it.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, your country and your email address. We never see or store your card number.
- Usage and device data. Pages visited, the site that referred you, your approximate country (from your IP address), browser type, and a device identifier used to apply the free daily allowance and prevent abuse.
- Analytics cookies. Only with your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To provide the service you asked for and to take payment (performance of a contract).
- To prevent abuse of free allowances, keep the service secure and measure which pages work (our legitimate interests).
- To run analytics cookies and similar technologies (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
Your documents and AI models
To read a page, we send its image to an AI model provider. We use routes that do not retain your data for training. We do not use your documents to train models, and nobody at our company reads your documents unless you ask us for help with a specific one.
Who we share data with
We use the following processors. We do not sell personal data.

Some processors are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where they are, transfers are covered by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Documents uploaded without an account: 7 days.
- Documents in an account: until you delete them or close the account.
- Payment and invoice records: as long as tax law requires.
- Usage logs: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. You can delete any document yourself from its page. To exercise any right, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell account holders by email.
