Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and APPFACT STUDIO LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 17493000, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. They apply when you use nocutoff.com (the "service").

1. What the service does

The service offers tools that carry out specific jobs on material you provide, such as turning photographs or scans of handwriting into editable text. Some tools listed on the site are provided by a separate product of ours and are subject to that product's own terms.

Results are produced by automated systems. They can contain errors. You are responsible for checking the output against your original, in particular names, dates, figures and anything you intend to rely on.

2. Using the service without an account

You can try the service without registering. In that case a temporary account is created for your device so that you can return to your document. Documents in temporary accounts are deleted after 7 days. If you pay without registering, the email address you give at checkout becomes your account.

3. Your content

You keep all rights in the files you upload and in the text produced from them. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you. You confirm that you are entitled to upload the material and that doing so does not break the law or the rights of others.

We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we send them to model providers only to carry out the job you asked for.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes. A one-time payment unlocks one document; it does not renew. Unlimited is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

6. Fair use

Free allowances and the page limits of each plan are described on the pricing page. You must not attempt to get around them, access the service by automated means without our agreement, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces what you have already paid for, you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused part.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, the service is provided "as is", we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.
