Text messages for court: a whole Android conversation as one PDF
Family lawyers and judges need the whole conversation, in order, with visible dates and times, not a handful of cropped screenshots. Back up the phone's texts with SMS Backup & Restore, upload the file and get one numbered PDF of the conversation you choose; the first part is free and the whole conversation is $5, paid once.
- Every text numbered, with sender, date and time, in the time zone printed on the cover
- MMS photos shown where they were sent; audio messages transcribed word for word
- Drafts and failed messages labelled, so they are not mistaken for delivered texts
- Calls with the same number listed at the end: incoming, outgoing, missed, length
- Up to 10,000 messages for one payment of $5

Hey, it is Daniel. I am stuck at work and I cannot get Emma from school today at 3:00. Can you pick her up? I will take her this weekend instead.

What a text-message record for court needs to show
A screenshot shows a few messages without context, and the other side can say the rest was left out. A complete record shows the whole conversation: who sent each message, the exact date and time, the pictures that were part of it, and nothing reordered. The PDF numbers every message, so a lawyer can cite "messages 412 to 418" and the reader can find them.
The cover lists the contact, the phone number, the period, the number of messages, photos and audio messages, and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the backup file you uploaded. Anyone holding the same backup can compute the same fingerprint and confirm the PDF was made from it.
Custody and co-parenting texts
Co-parenting conversations run for years and thousands of messages: pick-up times, missed visits, schedule swaps, medical appointments, payments. That is exactly where printing from the phone stops partway and screenshots become hundreds of images. The backup holds all of it, and the PDF keeps it in one document with the call log for the same number at the end, which shows when calls were made, missed or rejected.
What this is not
NoCutoff does not give legal advice and does not certify documents. The PDF is a readable copy of the backup, not a forensic extraction of the phone; messages deleted before the backup was made are not in it. Whether and how text messages can be used depends on the court and the country, so ask your lawyer. Keep the backup file unchanged: the fingerprint on the cover is only useful as long as that file exists.
How the tool works, what it costs and how your files are handled is on the Text Messages to PDF page; prices for every tool are on the pricing page.

Questions and answers
Is the PDF accepted as evidence?
That depends on the court, the country and how the messages were obtained. The PDF is a complete, numbered record of the backup with its fingerprint; your lawyer decides how to use it.
Can I give only part of the conversation?
Yes. Once the conversation is unlocked, Redact and select on the job page lets you limit the dates, hide phone numbers and email addresses, or leave out messages. Left-out messages are marked as withheld and every other message keeps its number, so the gaps are visible.
Does it show deleted messages?
No. The backup contains the messages that were on the phone when it was made, and the PDF contains exactly what the backup contains.
Who can see my messages?
Only you. Jobs are private, are not used to train AI models, and can be deleted from your account at any time.
