Malayalam with English mixed in

Spoken Malayalam, in Kerala and abroad, is full of English words: office, hospital, visa, salary. The tool writes the Malayalam in Malayalam script and keeps those English words in English, as they were said, so nothing is half-translated.

People usually type Malayalam in Manglish, but the transcript of a recording is always in Malayalam script. For a reader who does not read it, the English translation is already chosen.

Speeches, classes and long calls

Long Malayalam recordings are often talks: a religious speech, a political speech, a class or a family function. When the speaker changes, a new paragraph starts with an English label such as "Speaker 2:"; edit it on screen. Malayalam numbers and dates are written as they are said; check amounts before you rely on them.

Long Malayalam recordings people bring

  • Religious and political speeches of one hour or more
  • Classes and lectures recorded on a phone
  • Calls with an employer, agent or landlord where what was promised matters
  • Family recordings for relatives who read English

How the tool works, what it costs and how your files are handled is on the Long Audio & Video to Text page; prices for every tool are on the pricing page.
