Chat Logs for a Spouse Visa
Chat logs for a spouse visa: a fair sample of every month, translated
Upload the chat exports of your relationship and get one short PDF for your visa application: messages and calls counted month by month, one or two excerpts from every month with their original message numbers, a translation under each message, an index page and a blank translator certification page. The chart and the first month are free, with no sign-up. The whole relationship costs $5: one payment, no subscription.
- Reads WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Instagram, Android SMS, iMessage and Discord exports, up to 3 together
- Every message counted per month, with voice messages, photos and calls where the app records them
- One or two excerpts per month chosen by AI from consecutive messages, intimate content left out
- Translation into English or 38 other languages printed under every message; voice messages in excerpts transcribed
- Index page with the apps, the period, each file's SHA-256 fingerprint and how the excerpts were chosen
- Blank translator certification page to be completed by a translator; small PDF (about 5 MB or less) plus a monthly CSV
- One flat $5 for the whole relationship, up to 10,000 messages · chart and first month free without an account
What you get back
One PDF, short enough to attach to an online application, that shows contact over the whole relationship and lets an officer read real conversations from each month.
- An index page: your names, the period, each export with its app, message count, file name and SHA-256 fingerprint, and a plain description of how the excerpts were chosen.
- A chart and a table of messages, voice messages, photos and calls for every month, including months without messages, so gaps are visible rather than hidden.
- For each month, one or two excerpts of consecutive messages: plans, visits, family, money, the wedding, the application. Each keeps the message numbers of the original export.
- The translation printed under every original message, and voice messages in the excerpts written out word for word.
- A blank translator certification page at the end.
- A monthly summary spreadsheet (CSV) and the excerpts as plain text.
Other ways to present chat logs
Sending every message is too much to read, and screenshots of a few good days do not show a continuing relationship. What you need sits in between.
| What you need | Screenshots or a chatbot | This tool |
|---|---|---|
| A few screenshots of one special day | Quick and fine for that | Not needed for that |
| Contact over two years, month by month | Hours of scrolling and counting | Counted from the exports, every month in one chart and table |
| A fair sample of each month | You choose by hand, months get skipped | 1 or 2 excerpts chosen for every month with messages |
| Translation of a mixed-language chat | A chatbot translates what you paste, often shortened | Every excerpt message translated in full, under the original |
| A small file for an online upload | Hundreds of images | One PDF of about 5 MB or less, photos reduced |
| Showing where the excerpts came from | Not possible | Original message numbers and the SHA-256 of each export file |
How to prepare chat logs for a spouse visa
-
1
Export your chats
In WhatsApp, open the chat, tap the name, then Export chat, and choose Attach media or Without media. Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Android SMS, iMessage and Discord have their own exports; the tool pages for each app explain them. Up to 3 exports can go into one pack.
-
2
Upload them and check the chart and the first month free
Drop the files here and choose the translation language. The monthly chart and the excerpts of your first month appear in a minute or two.
-
3
Unlock the whole relationship and download
Unlock it for $5 and download the PDF, the monthly CSV and the excerpts as text. Use Redact and select first if you want to leave anything out.
Why a sample of every month
Spouse, partner and fiancé visa applications usually ask for evidence that the relationship is genuine and continuing. Chat logs are strong evidence of that, but years of messages are thousands of pages that no officer will read. A common approach is a representative sample: a little from each month, with the dates visible, plus something that shows how often you were in touch.
This tool does the counting and the first selection for you. The chart and the table come from every message in the exports, not from the sample. The excerpts are short runs of consecutive messages, so each one reads as a real conversation, and the message numbers let anyone find them again in the full chat.
Translation and the certification page
If your messages are not in the language of the application, the authority will usually want a translation, and often a certified one. The tool translates every message in the excerpts with an AI model and prints the translation under the original. It is a machine translation, not a certified one.
The last page of the PDF is a blank translator certification. A translator who is competent in both languages should check the translations against the originals, correct them where needed and then sign that page. NoCutoff does not certify translations.
What the excerpts leave out
- Sexual or intimate messages, which officers do not need and applicants rarely want to share
- Insults and arguments, card and bank numbers, passwords and ID numbers
- Anything you exclude yourself: with Redact and select you can remove messages, hide phone numbers or limit the dates before you download
- Calls from WhatsApp and iMessage, whose exports do not include a call history; a screenshot of the call log can be added separately
What this is not
NoCutoff does not give legal or immigration advice and cannot tell you how much chat evidence your application needs. Follow the guidance of the authority you apply to and, if you have one, your lawyer or adviser. Read the excerpts before you submit them: they were chosen by an AI model and you know your conversations best.
The PDF is a selection from your exports, not the whole conversation, and the index page says so. Keep the original export files unchanged; their SHA-256 fingerprints on the index page show which files the excerpts came from. Uploads can be up to 2 GB.

Questions and answers
How do I present WhatsApp chat logs for a spouse visa?
Export the chat from WhatsApp, upload it here and choose the language of your application. You get one PDF with your contact counted month by month, one or two translated excerpts from every month and an index page. The chart and the first month are free; the whole relationship is $5.
How many pages of chats should I send?
That depends on the authority and your case, and NoCutoff cannot advise on it. The PDF keeps it short: a chart for the whole relationship and one or two excerpts per month. You can leave out months or messages with Redact and select before you download.
Is the translation certified?
No. It is a machine translation printed under each original message. The PDF ends with a blank translator certification page for a competent translator to check the translations and sign. NoCutoff does not certify translations.
Can I combine WhatsApp with Messenger or text messages?
Yes. Upload up to 3 exports together, for example WhatsApp, Instagram and an Android SMS backup. Messages are merged into one timeline and counted per app and per month.
Are intimate messages included?
The AI is told never to choose sexual or intimate content, insults, or card, bank and ID numbers. Read the excerpts before you submit them, and remove anything with Redact and select.
Are calls counted?
Yes, where the export records them: Telegram, Messenger, Instagram and Discord calls, and the call log of an Android SMS backup. WhatsApp and iMessage exports have no call history; the PDF says so instead of showing zero.
Can I change which excerpts were chosen?
You can remove messages or whole excerpts, limit the dates and hide details with Redact and select; removed messages are marked as withheld. Choosing different excerpts is not available yet.
Is my data private?
Only you can open your job. The files you upload are deleted as soon as they have been read. Message text is sent to an AI model provider to choose and translate the excerpts and voice messages to transcribe them, through routes that do not use your data for training. Jobs uploaded without an account are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete a job at any time.
How much does it cost?
The chart and the first month are free without an account. The whole relationship is $5, paid once, for up to 10,000 messages from up to 3 exports. Unlimited costs $19 a week (it renews weekly, cancel any time) and covers every tool on the site.
