WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. NoCutoff is an independent tool and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. The chat above is a demo; the PDF excerpt is real output from that demo chat.
Why a chatbot struggles with a Hindi WhatsApp chat
A WhatsApp export is a ZIP file: a text file of the typed messages plus one .opus audio file for every voice note. A chat assistant can read a short piece of pasted text, but it cannot open the voice notes inside the export, and a family or business chat often holds hundreds of them. Long chats are also where a chat window starts to summarise instead of copying.
Hindi voice notes add one more difficulty: most of them are not pure Hindi. People switch to English for a word, a number or a whole sentence, and that mix is exactly what a record has to keep. The tool writes each part in its own language: Hindi in Devanagari, English in English, so "kal 10 baje office aa jaunga" style speech is not flattened into one language.
What you get back
One PDF of the whole conversation in date order. Each message carries its number, sender and time exactly as in the export. Voice notes appear as the transcript of what was said, marked with their length, and, if you chose English, the translation sits under the Hindi in a separate block so both stay on the record. Photos are printed in place. The same content is also available as TXT and CSV.
In our own test, a 3,000-message export with 52 voice notes and 28 photos became a 199-page PDF in about two minutes. One payment covers up to 10,000 messages; very long chats are what WhatsApp exports in the first place, so check the message count on the cover page against your phone.
How to export the chat from your phone
- Open the chat in WhatsApp, tap the name at the top, then Export chat
- Choose to include media (Attach media or Include media, depending on the phone), so the voice notes are inside the export
- Save the ZIP (iPhone) or the text file and media (Android) and upload it here
- Choose English under "Also translate" if you want a translation under each message
How the tool works, what it costs and how your files are handled is on the WhatsApp Chat to PDF page; prices for every tool are on the pricing page.

Questions and answers
Can it transcribe Hindi voice notes that mix in English?
Yes. Mixed speech is written as spoken: the Hindi parts in Devanagari and the English parts in English. Nothing is converted into one language unless you ask for a translation.
Can I get the Hindi in Roman letters instead of Devanagari?
Not at the moment. Hindi speech is written in Devanagari, which is the most exact record. The English translation under each message is there for readers who do not read Devanagari.
How much does it cost for a long chat?
The first part of the chat is free without an account. The whole chat, up to 10,000 messages with all its voice notes, is $5, paid once. Unlimited covers chats up to 30,000 messages.
Does it work with Urdu, Punjabi or Bengali voice notes too?
Yes. Each voice note is written in the language and script it is spoken in. The translation can go into English or any of the other languages in the list.
