Synced lyrics, LRC
Turn lyrics into a synced LRC file timed to the song
Paste the lyrics, upload the song, and every line comes back with the time it is sung, as a standard .lrc file. You also get a word-by-word LRC for karaoke-style highlighting and an SRT for video. A whole album works in one job: upload the songs with a lyrics file of the same name for each. One song of up to 6 minutes is free in full; a longer job costs $5, paid once.
- LRC with a [mm:ss.xx] time for every line, read from the vocals
- Word-by-word LRC (Enhanced LRC) with a time for every word
- SRT of the same lines, for lyric videos and editors
- A whole album in one job: songs plus lyric files with the same names, back as a ZIP
- Lines such as [Chorus] or (Verse 2) skipped, your lyric lines kept exactly
- MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG and more; lyrics pasted or as TXT, LRC or DOCX
- One song up to 6 minutes free in full · whole album $5, one payment
What you get back
Lyric files that music players, karaoke apps and video editors can read, timed to when each line is sung.
- A .lrc file per song with a title tag, the song length and one timed line per lyric line.
- A word-by-word .lrc where every word carries its own <mm:ss.xx> time.
- An SRT with the same lines, each on screen until the next line starts.
- For an album, a ZIP with files named after the songs, such as "03 Harbor Lights.lrc".
- Times you correct on screen, in the form [01:02.35], are used in the files you download.
Doing it in a chatbot, and with this tool
A chat assistant can put lyrics into LRC format. Without hearing the song, the times are guesses, and lyrics drift off the vocals within the first verse.
| What you need | A chatbot | This tool |
|---|---|---|
| LRC layout for lyrics you already timed | Often fine | Also fine, and one song is free in full |
| Times that follow the singer | Evenly spaced guesses | Read from the vocals in the recording |
| A time for every word | Not realistic by hand | Word-by-word LRC in the same job |
| Twelve songs of an album | One song at a time, by hand | Songs and lyric files matched by name, one ZIP back |
| Your exact lyrics | Lines sometimes reworded or skipped | Every line kept as you wrote it |
How to make an LRC file from lyrics
-
1
Add the song and the lyrics
Drop the song and paste the lyrics, one line per line, with every repeat written out. For an album, drop all the songs plus a .txt for each with the same name, such as "03 Harbor Lights.mp3" and "03 Harbor Lights.txt".
-
2
Start
The vocals are recognized with a time for every word, and your lines are matched to them. Choosing the language is optional.
-
3
Check and download
The timed lines appear on screen. Download LRC, word-by-word LRC or SRT; a single song of up to 6 minutes is free, a whole album is $5.
Why LRC files from a chat assistant drift
An LRC file is plain text: each lyric line starts with the time it is sung, such as [01:12.40]. Writing that layout is easy for a chat assistant, but the times have to come from the song. An assistant that only sees the lyrics spaces them evenly or guesses from the song length, so the first chorus is already a few seconds off and the rest follows it.
This tool listens to the song with a speech recognition model that gives a time for every word it hears in the vocals. Your lyric lines are matched to those words by code: phrases that appear once in both act as anchors, and the rest is matched word by word. Words the recognizer misheard take their time from the words around them, so a single misheard word does not shift the line.
What people use it for
- Independent artists preparing synced lyrics for their own releases and lyric videos
- Karaoke nights and practice, with word-by-word highlighting
- Music collections where each track should show lyrics as it plays
- Language learners following songs line by line
- Choirs and worship teams putting lyrics on screen in time with a recording
Getting a good result
- Write every line as it is sung: if the chorus is sung three times, it should appear three times in the lyrics
- Section labels such as [Chorus] or (Bridge) are fine; they are skipped and do not get a time
- Ad-libs and backing vocals that are not in your lyrics are ignored
- For an album, give each lyrics file exactly the same name as its song; brackets such as "(lyrics)" in the name are ignored
- An existing .lrc can be uploaded as the lyrics; its old times are removed and new ones are found
Accuracy and limits
The vocals are recognized with the music still underneath; there is no separate vocal track. Clear lead vocals time well. Heavy distortion, screamed vocals, dense choirs and very fast rap are harder, and some lines may start a little early or late; you can fix a time on screen before downloading. Long instrumental parts are simply skipped.
Use it for songs you have the right to use. The lyrics you upload are only matched to the recording; nothing is published.

Questions and answers
How do I make an LRC file?
Upload the song, paste the lyrics with one line per line and start. Every line gets the time it is sung; download the .lrc and save it next to the song with the same name.
Can ChatGPT make a synced LRC file for my song?
It can write the LRC layout, but it cannot hear the song, so the times are guesses that drift off the vocals. This tool takes word times from the recording and matches your lyrics to them.
What is word-by-word LRC?
An LRC where every word has its own time tag, such as <01:12.40>, as used for karaoke-style highlighting. It is made in the same job as the line-by-line file.
Can I do a whole album at once?
Yes. Upload all the songs and a lyrics file for each with the same name. Each song gets its own LRC, and the files come back in one ZIP.
Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes. The language is detected from the song, and 77 languages can be chosen as a hint. Timing is most reliable where the vocals are clear; check the result on screen.
What if the song has long instrumental parts?
They are skipped. Lines are timed by the words that are sung, so an intro or solo does not shift the lyrics after it.
How much does it cost?
One song of up to 6 minutes is free in full. A longer job or an album is $5, paid once, for up to 6 hours of audio. Unlimited costs $19 a week, renews weekly and covers up to 12 hours per job.
Are my unreleased songs private?
Only you can open your job. Songs are sent to an AI model provider only to be processed and are not used to train models. Jobs started without an account are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete a job yourself at any time.
