How big a catalog fits
Count the fields you translate, not the rows. A 20,000-product export with title and SEO title is about 40,000 cells and usually well under the character limit, so it fits in one payment. Full HTML descriptions are long, often hundreds to well over a thousand characters each, so with descriptions one payment covers a few thousand products.

Why one job beats splitting the file
Splitting a catalog by hand risks cutting a product's variant rows apart, losing the header in later pieces, or importing the pieces in the wrong order. Here the whole file stays together: it is translated in parts of up to 600 cells, one after another, and rebuilt from your original, with every untranslated field copied byte for byte. Can ChatGPT translate a catalog with 20,000 products?
Not in one reply: the answer would have to be as long as the file. In practice it means hundreds of rounds of pasting, with nothing checking that every row and code survived. This tool takes the whole file and returns it whole.

Are my files private?
Only you can open your job. The text fields are sent to an AI model provider only to translate them, through routes that do not use your data for training. Jobs uploaded without an account are deleted after 7 days.
