Analyze Amazon product reviews from a CSV export

Upload the Amazon reviews you have exported as CSV or Excel and get each review tagged with its sentiment and the themes it mentions, such as size, packaging or durability, plus a table that counts reviews per theme with example quotes. It works on files you already have; it does not collect reviews from Amazon. The first reviews are free; up to 20,000 reviews are $5, paid once.

Getting the reviews into a file

This tool starts from a file. Seller and brand dashboards, review export tools and browser extensions can save reviews as CSV; so can a sheet you filled by hand. Keep one review per row. Columns such as star rating, review title, variant and date can stay in the file: the rating and title are read along with the text, and every column is copied back unchanged.

Reading the result as a seller

  • Compare themes across your own products by pivoting on the ASIN or product column
  • Filter one- and two-star reviews coded "Size" to see whether a size chart would help
  • Use the example quotes to brief a supplier on a recurring defect
  • Run competitor reviews you have exported with your own theme list, so the tables compare

Several languages in one export

Exports from several marketplaces mix languages. Choose a translation language and a translated copy of every review is added as a column in the same pass; the themes are then written in that language too, so one summary covers every marketplace.

How the tool works, what it costs and how your files are handled is on the Analyze Customer Reviews page; prices for every tool are on the pricing page.

Questions and answers

Can ChatGPT analyze my Amazon reviews?

It summarizes the reviews you paste well. For a few thousand reviews in a file, it reads part of them and its counts are estimates. This tool codes every review against one theme list and counts the codes.

Can it download reviews from an Amazon product page?

No. It analyzes a CSV or Excel file you upload. Export the reviews first.

Which columns should the file have?

At least the review text, one review per row. Rating and title help; IDs and links are skipped automatically.

How many reviews fit in one payment?

Up to 20,000 reviews for $5. Unlimited covers up to 100,000 reviews per file.

Is it free?

Files of up to 100 reviews are free in full. For bigger files, the themes and the first reviews are free on screen.
