Translate a WooCommerce product CSV, IDs and SKUs untouched

Export your products from WooCommerce, upload the CSV and get it back with names, short descriptions, descriptions, purchase notes and button text translated. IDs, SKUs, prices, stock, categories, tags and attribute values stay as they were, so the file imports back cleanly with the WooCommerce importer. The first products are free; the whole file is $5, paid once.

Why categories and attributes are left alone

WooCommerce links products to categories by name and builds variations from attribute values such as Color or Size. Translating them in the product file creates new categories and breaks the link between a variable product and its variations on import. That is why they are not chosen for you. If your new store should use translated categories or attribute values, tick those columns on the next screen, knowing the importer will create them as new terms.

Variable products

A variable product has a parent row and one row per variation. Variation rows usually have little or no text of their own; empty cells do not count toward the limit and come back exactly as they were. Parent and variation IDs and SKUs are never translated, so the importer can match them again.

How the tool works, what it costs and how your files are handled is on the Translate a Product Catalog page; prices for every tool are on the pricing page.

Questions and answers

Can ChatGPT translate a WooCommerce export?

A few rows, yes. A full export has to come back in one reply with every ID and SKU in place, which a chatbot tends not to manage on a long file. This tool sends only the text fields and rebuilds the file from yours.

Do I need a WordPress plugin?

No. Export the CSV with the built-in product exporter, translate it here and import it with the built-in importer.

Which columns are translated?

Name, Short description, Description, Purchase note and Button text are chosen for you. You can add or remove columns on the next screen.

How many products fit?

One payment covers 50,000 cells, one cell per translated field of a product. Unlimited covers 200,000 cells in one job.

Is it free?

Files of up to 300 cells are free in full; bigger files show the first products free. The whole file is $5, paid once.
