Mixed language, one script
Hinglish is two things at once: Hindi typed in Latin letters, and Hindi mixed with English words. Converting it well means writing the Hindi words in Devanagari with the right matras, and deciding which English words to keep in Latin letters. Common words like "phone" are often written फ़ोन in Hindi text, while brand names and technical terms usually stay in English. You can make that choice explicit with the "Never change" list.
