Translate a visual novel script spreadsheet to Brazilian Portuguese
Many translation projects keep the script in a spreadsheet: an ID, a speaker, the original line and an empty column for the translation. Upload the CSV or Excel file and get every line in Brazilian Portuguese, either in place, added next to the original, or written into a Portuguese column if the sheet already has one. IDs and speaker names stay as they are. The first lines are free; the whole script is $5, paid once.

How the columns are handled
The tool looks at the header first. If it finds a column for the target language, written as Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), pt-BR or similar, it fills that column from the English column and skips any line that already has a Portuguese translation, so a half-finished project can be completed. If there is no such column, you choose the text column on the next screen and download the result translated in place or with a new column beside the original.
Keeping the voice of each character
The speaker column is not translated, but lines are sent in order, in blocks, with their column as context, which helps keep the register of a scene. List character and place names under Never translate, and add glossary lines for recurring terms, so a spell or a school club has the same Portuguese name in every chapter. Square brackets in a spreadsheet script are treated as plain text, so stage directions like [laughs] can be translated.

Can ChatGPT translate a visual novel script to Portuguese?

Can I continue a project that is half translated?
Yes. If the sheet has a Portuguese column, lines that already have a translation are left alone and only the empty ones are filled.
