A SoundCloud track or podcast to text, straight from its link
Paste the link of a public SoundCloud track, talk or podcast episode in the link box. The audio is fetched and transcribed in full, in the language it was spoken, with a timestamp at each paragraph and an optional translation under it. Recordings of up to 15 minutes are free in full. A longer one shows its first part free, and the whole recording is $5, paid once, up to 6 hours.

Talks, sermons and podcasts
SoundCloud holds many long recordings that are not music: weekly sermons, lectures, radio shows and podcasts that never made it to a podcast app. A two-hour episode is written out in full, with timestamps, so you can quote it, translate it or turn it into notes.
Music is transcribed too, but lyrics under loud instruments are harder to hear and may be marked [inaudible].

Can ChatGPT transcribe a SoundCloud link?
It cannot open the audio behind a SoundCloud link. Paste the link here, or upload the file if you have it.
Does it work with a private track?
No. The track has to be public. For a private one, download the file and upload it.
How much is a two-hour episode?
$5 for the whole recording, the same for anything up to 6 hours. Up to 15 minutes is free in full. Unlimited, $19 a week, allows up to 12 hours per job.
Who can see the transcript?
Only you. The audio is sent to an AI model provider to be transcribed and is not used to train models. Jobs started without an account are deleted after 7 days.
