Marathi, not Hindi
Marathi and Hindi share the Devanagari script, and a recording can sound close to Hindi in places, especially in Mumbai. Choose Marathi as the spoken language so the transcript keeps Marathi words, endings and the letter ळ instead of turning them into Hindi.
Speakers in Pune and Mumbai often switch into English mid-sentence. Those words are written in English as they were said, so a technical lecture or an office meeting reads naturally.

Can ChatGPT transcribe a long Marathi recording?
A short clip, often yes. A recording of an hour or more tends to run into upload limits or come back shortened. This tool transcribes the whole file part by part and keeps the order and timestamps.
Can I get the Marathi in English letters?
No. The transcript is in Devanagari. You can add an English translation under each paragraph instead.
How much is a three-hour pravachan?
$5 for the whole recording, the same for anything up to 6 hours. Up to 15 minutes is free in full. Unlimited, $19 a week, allows up to 12 hours per job.
Who can see my file?
Only you. It is sent to an AI model provider to be transcribed and is not used to train models. Jobs started without an account are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete a job at any time.
