Webpage to PDF
Convert HTML to PDF: paste a webpage address, get a clean A4 PDF
Paste the address of a web page, or a list of addresses, and get each page back as an A4 PDF. The page is opened in real Chrome first, so its JavaScript runs and its images load before it is saved. The first address is free, with no sign-up. Up to 50 addresses in one job cost $5: one payment, no subscription. A chatbot cannot save a page: it rewrites what it read and the layout is lost.
- First address free, no account needed
- Up to 50 addresses for $5, one payment, no subscription
- Rendered in real Chrome: JavaScript runs, images load
- A4 pages with background colors and images kept
- One address gives a PDF, a list gives one PDF per page in a ZIP
- Works from the URL of a public page, nothing to install
What you get back
A PDF of the page as the browser rendered it, not a retyped version of its text. A long page continues over as many A4 pages as it needs. Background colors and images are kept, which a browser's own print dialog leaves out unless you change a setting.
- One A4 PDF per address, with page margins
- The page's own fonts, images, colors and backgrounds
- A single address downloads as a PDF file
- A list downloads as one ZIP with a numbered PDF for each address
- Files named after the site and page, such as example.com-pricing.pdf
Why a chatbot cannot convert a webpage to PDF
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini can write text and, in some setups, put that text into a simple PDF. Saving an existing web page is another matter. The assistant would have to render the page the way a browser does, and what it works with instead is the text it managed to read.
| Your situation | A chatbot | This tool |
|---|---|---|
| You want new text laid out as a simple PDF | Can often write it and build a basic PDF | Not its job: it saves an existing page |
| A live page saved as it looks | Rewrites the text it read; layout and images are gone | Saves the page Chrome rendered |
| A page built with JavaScript | Often sees little or none of the content | Scripts run before the PDF is made |
| A long article, complete | Tends to shorten or summarize | The whole page, across as many A4 pages as needed |
| A site that blocks AI assistants | Cannot open the page at all | Visits as a regular Chrome browser; some sites still block it |
| 30 pages to archive | One request at a time, if it works | One list in, one ZIP of PDFs out |
How to convert a webpage to PDF
-
1
Paste the address
Copy the URL of the page from your browser and paste it in. To convert several pages, paste a list with one address per line.
-
2
Get the first PDF free
The first address is opened in Chrome and saved as an A4 PDF. A preview of the page is shown so you can see that the right page was loaded.
-
3
Unlock the list and download
For a list, unlock up to 50 addresses for $5. One page downloads as a PDF, several as a ZIP.
Why saving a webpage as PDF trips up general AI assistants
A web page is not a document. It is HTML, style sheets, scripts, fonts and images that a browser assembles into something you can read. Turning that into a PDF means doing the assembly first, then printing the result to paper-sized pages. That is browser work.
A chat assistant does not assemble the page. When it can reach the address at all, it reads the text, and when you ask for a PDF it writes a new document from what it read. Headings may survive. The layout, the images, the tables and the exact wording often do not, and a long page tends to come back shorter than it was. If the page is built by JavaScript, the assistant may have seen almost nothing.
For a receipt, a policy page, a recipe or an article you want to keep as it was on a given day, a rewritten version is not what you need. This tool loads the address in Chrome, waits for the page to finish loading and saves that exact rendering as a PDF.
What people use it for
- Saving articles and guides to read offline or keep on file
- Keeping a copy of terms, policies and pricing pages as they stood on a given day
- Order confirmations, public invoices and receipts that exist only as a web page
- Documentation pages and knowledge base articles for a handover
- Research sources attached to a report
- Archiving a list of your own pages before a site rebuild
"HTML to PDF" here means a page that is online
This converter works from a public web address. It does not take an uploaded .html file or pasted HTML code. If your HTML is a file on your computer, the simplest route is to open it in your browser and use Print, then Save as PDF. If your page is online, paste its address here and you get the same kind of result without touching print settings, for one page or for a whole list.
Getting a good PDF, and what the tool does not do
Use the exact address of the page, including the path. The PDF is made on A4 paper with backgrounds on, using the page's on-screen styling. A wide page is fitted to the paper width, so a site may show the layout it uses for narrower screens. A long page is split across pages where the paper ends.
Only public pages can be converted. Pages behind a login cannot be opened, and some sites block automated visits. Cookie banners shown to first-time visitors can appear in the PDF, and images that load only as a visitor scrolls may be missing on some pages. The first address is free, so you can check the result on your own page before paying.

Questions and answers
Is the webpage to PDF converter free?
The first address in a job is converted free and you do not need an account. Without an account you can run 1 free job a day; a free account raises that to 3 a day and adds file download.
How much does it cost to convert a list of pages?
$5, paid once, for one job of up to 50 addresses. Each address becomes its own PDF and they download together as a ZIP. There is no subscription. Tax is included in the price shown.
Can ChatGPT convert a webpage to PDF?
Not as the page looks. A chatbot can sometimes read a page and build a PDF from the text, which gives you its own rewritten version without the layout and images, and often shorter than the original. This tool opens the address in real Chrome and saves the rendered page as a PDF.
Can I upload an HTML file or paste HTML code?
No. The converter works from the address of a public web page. For an .html file on your computer, open it in your browser and use Print, then Save as PDF.
Which pages can it convert?
Any public page with an http or https address, including pages that build their content with JavaScript. Pages behind a login cannot be opened, and some sites block automated visits.
What does the PDF look like?
It is an A4 PDF made by Chrome from the page's on-screen styling, with background colors and images kept and a margin around each page. A long web page continues over several PDF pages.
Can I convert several URLs to PDF at once?
Yes. Paste a list of addresses, one per line. A $5 job takes up to 50 addresses and a Unlimited plan takes up to 100 per job. Each address becomes a separate PDF and all of them come in one ZIP.
Are my PDFs private?
Only you can open your job and its files. Jobs started without an account are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete any job yourself at any time.
What does Unlimited include?
Unlimited costs $29 a month or $180 a year and covers every tool on the site, with up to 500 pages or addresses a month and up to 100 addresses in one PDF job. You can cancel at any time.
